Activator Method
The Activator is the most widely used chiropractic instrument. Studies show improvement with the Activator Method. It also has been compared to other techniques and proven to be just as effective. This means that for many patients an Activator adjustment could very well lead to the same outcome as a manual adjustment. This offers chiropractors and patients an alternative to manual adjusting when it is preferred for clinical reasons.
ART (Active Release Technique)
Active Release Technique (ART) is a soft tissue therapy designed to rid injured areas of scar tissue. Here at Chiropractic Healing Team we incorporate ART in our treatment of musculoskeletal disorders to remedy injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, rotator cuff injuries, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, tennis elbow, headaches, and back pain. All of theses conditions tend to have one thing in common: the result of an overused muscle.
We are all prone to over-using muscles while at work and in our daily lives, no matter the occupation. Overuse Syndrome is common in our society. As a result of our work duties, athletic events and daily lives, we are all at risk of developing this syndrome due to repetitive stresses on the same structures. These stresses may not be painful at first, but the body learns to compensate for long term use resulting in the soft tissue adapting and changing over time.
Electrical Stimulation
Electrotherapy is an alternative pain management treatment option that involves the use of mild electromagnetic pulses to provide relief for the patient. This treatment option can dull pain, repair tissue, strengthen muscles, and even improve your blood circulation.
Spinal Decompression
Spinal decompression is a non-invasive mechanical procedure performed within our office to help alleviate back pain. It involves gently stretching the spine to take pressure off the spinal discs (the cushions that separate the vertebrae in the spine). By relieving this pressure, bulging discs can retract back into place which takes pressure off the nerves in the spine. By decompressing the spine, it permits water, oxygen and other fluids to work their way back into the discs allowing them to heal naturally. Spinal decompression is an excellent option for anyone with chronic back pain who wants to get back to living a pain-free life as quickly as possible.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an old healing practice of traditional Chinese medicine dating back over 4,000 years. It still remains effective today as a way to strengthen the body rather than merely treating symptoms. It is primarily used to relieve pain as well as treat other conditions. More than 3 million Americans and 200,000 children in the U.S. have had acupuncture to help relieve a symptom or condition. Because of its low side effects, it has been the treatment of choice for many doctors across the country. It is even more popular in other countries.
DOT Exams
For certain driving jobs like commercial truck driving, a DOT physical is necessary to ensure that you’re physically fit enough to operate the vehicle. Many people put off taking their DOT physical thinking that it will take too much time or that paperwork will be a hassle to complete. We provide quick physicals with a DOT Certified Medical Examiner so that you can get in and get back to your day. We also understand how important it is for a driver to maintain their commercial driver’s license, so you can trust us to be professional and knowledgeable about your needs as a commercial driver.
Kinesio Taping
Kinesiology Taping is a precise rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints. This technique allows the body’s normal range of motion as well as providing extending soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting. Kinesio tape is latex-free and hypoallergenic which makes it “skin friendly” for patients with sensitive or fragile skin; such as, patients with diabetes, fibromyalgia or rheumatoid arthritis.
Facial Treatments
Facial treatments are comprehensive skin care procedures designed to cleanse, rejuvenate, and nourish the skin for a radiant and healthy appearance. These treatments include a variety of techniques, such as deep cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and the application of serums or masks tailored to your specific skin type and concerns. Whether targeting fine lines, acne, dryness, or uneven skin tone, facials are customized to address individual needs and promote optimal skin health. Performed in a relaxing and professional environment, facial treatments enhance circulation, improve skin texture, and leave you with a refreshed and glowing complexion.
Permanent Makeup
Permanent makeup is a specialized cosmetic technique designed to enhance facial features by implanting pigment into the skin’s upper layers. This precise, minimally invasive procedure creates natural-looking, long-lasting enhancements to areas such as eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. Using sterile, high-quality pigments and advanced equipment, the process ensures accuracy, safety, and customized results tailored to each individual’s unique facial structure and preferences. Permanent makeup reduces the need for daily cosmetic application, offering a polished, effortless appearance that remains intact throughout daily activities and environmental conditions.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is a safe, effective, and long-lasting method for reducing unwanted hair growth on various areas of the body. This advanced cosmetic procedure utilizes highly concentrated beams of light to target and destroy hair follicles beneath the skin. The process is precise, controlled, and gentle, ensuring minimal discomfort and no damage to the surrounding skin. By focusing on the hair’s root, laser hair removal significantly reduces future growth, providing smooth, hair-free results. The treatment is suitable for all skin types and can be customized to address specific areas such as the face, arms, legs, underarms, and bikini line.
